FF&E INTERIOR DESIGNER REQUIRED AT PETER YOUNG DESIGN
 

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced FF&E Interior designer, who is able to work at a fast pace with a

good understanding of furniture, fabrics and how to put schemes together for a range of projects in the residential

and hospitality sectors.

 

Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record with a minimum of six year’s professional experience and will have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the design process. Candidates must also demonstrate a knowledge of working to a budget whilst maintaining creative flair.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, THOUGH ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
 

 

 

Leading the FF&E design for a large hospitality project in the Middle East from conception to completion including all stages of design and the production of the specification books and all interior aspects of the design and project process.

 

 

SKILL SET:
 

A thorough understanding of Furniture and fabrics.

*

Complete fluency in Microsoft office is essential and knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign would be advantageous.

*

Be able to produce sketches/drawings of furniture to a high standard. 

*

Strong creative sense with excellent attention to detail.

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain and communicate ideas clearly and quickly.

CAD TECHNICIAN REQUIRED AT PETER YOUNG DESIGN
 

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced CAD technician, proficient in AutoCAD or Vector works and able to work at a fast pace with a good understanding of detailed construction drawings. 

 

Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record with a minimum of four year’s professional experience in the hotel/hospitality/residential sector and will have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the design process. Candidates must also demonstrate a high level of CAD work and have a thorough understanding of putting together drawing packages as well as being confident to work independently, within tight time constraints and under pressure.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, THOUGH ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
 

 

Production of CAD drawings, details and specifications as necessary for design development and tender issue

Support every aspect of the project from inception to completion, working within a team or independently.

You would be directly involved in design, working drawings, production information and specification writing for

all interior aspects of the design and project process.

 

 

SKILL SET:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain and communicate ideas clearly and quickly

Must have at least four years' experience working as a CAD technician on high-end projects for firms

specialising in the hospitality and residential sector
