LOCATED IN A CHERRY TREE-LINED KENSINGTON TERRACE, THIS ELEGANT VICTORIAN TOWNHOUSE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED FROM A DARK AND CRAMPED PROPERTY INTO A LIGHT-FILLED, OPEN AND SPACIOUS FAMILY HOME.

 

Our brief was to retain and enhance the Victorian features whilst creating a practical yet sophisticated living space for a young urban family. The entire interior was rearranged around a bespoke and contemporary central staircase forming the ‘spine’ of the property. The change freed a confined interior, creating far more light and space.

 

The formal reception rooms and master suite retain the classic elegance of its Victorian origins and meld with the family rooms and domestic areas which enjoy all the contemporary touches a modern family needs.
